Guided Tours
The target of this service are organised groups of visitors, consisting of more than 10 people. Pricing depends on the size of the group. During the tour, the visitors will learn about the processing of linen, from a plant to the final product, finding out more about the work done in each department of the factory. In the summer the jacquard loom is put in motion to demonstrate its workings in the museum weaving manufacture. The tour ends with a visit to an integral part of the Linen Museum, the Industrial Pen where animals reside. The duration of the tour is adjusted based on the age of the visitors and can usually last from 30 to 90 minutes.
The museum is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday from 10AM to 3PM. In the summer, that is, April – October, the visiting hours on the weekends are extended to 6PM. Before you book a tour
- A tour accompanied by a tour guide ought to be booked a minimum of 7 days in advance before the date of the visit.
- An employee of the Linen Museum may contact the provided phone number a day before the visit or the day of the visit to confirm attendance.
- Should the given number turn out to be incorrect and the visit is impossible to confirm, the employee may cancel a booked visit.
- The person booking a tour may cancel it 2 days before the visit to the Linen Museum at the latest.
Individual tours
Both individual visitors as well as organised groups may tour the premises independently. All of the exhibitions include signs with in depth information, available in Polish and English. Visitors have access to seven exhibitions detailing the process of processing linen. Individual tours require no prior booking nor buying a ticket in advance.
The Linen Museum has at its disposal 20 audio-guides free of charge with three different tour tracks available:
- The Polish Standard Track | duration: 50 minutes | to complete the listening experience, contents available on the information boards may be read by the visitor on their own | meant for older teens and adults;
- The English Standard Track | duration: 40 minutes | to complete the listening experience, contents available on the information boards may be read by the visitor on their own;
- The Polish Family Track | duration: 35 minutes | meant for children and their caretakers.
The audio receivers are limited in quantity. They can be booked for a set date.

- The audio-guide ought to be booked at least a day before the planned visit, with the exact hour of arrival specified.
- In case of a delay longer than 30 minutes, the reception employee has the right to cancel the booking and rent out the device to other visitors.
- In case of all devices having been rented out, the visitor may listen to a chosen track on their phone, by downloading MOVIGUIDE app (available for Android and iOS systems) and using their own headphones.
